Our one-semester Music Together^® Babies Class was created especially for families with infants under eight months old (by start date).

That’s right: It’s never too early to start our music classes!

Your little one was born ready to make music.

In this special class for grownups with babies under eight months old, you'll learn lots of fun, interactive music activities that will support your child's growth in so many areas, including their physical, socio-emotional, language, and early brain development. Your expert teacher will also share ideas for how music can help you get through your day. And you'll join a community of other parents who are just as sleep-deprived as you!

• Instruments will be provided by our teachers. If you prefer to bring your own materials, you can put together a 'musical bag' and include the following for each child and adult: some small instruments, a pair of shakers, a pair of sticks, and a scarf.  For your bring-from-home instruments, you can use store-bought or household items like containers filled with rice or lentils as shakers, chopsticks or wooden spoons as sticks, a towel or burp cloth as a scarf.  If you wish to purchase instruments, Music Together Worldwide sells a great kit here.  Please note: xylophones are best enjoyed at home; due to their tonal nature, they can interfere with our in-class music making and we prefer you do not bring them to class. 

• Please bring a mat or blanket to sit on.

• We have a generous “unlimited” makeup/bonus class policy. You can schedule extra classes by using our website's makeup/bonus class scheduler (top of homepage) in any of our classes (space permitting). Please stay home if you or your child are not feeling well.

• If class is cancelled due to weather-related issues, we'll do our best to add a rescheduled date to the end of your semester. Several weather-related dates may force us to complete a semester online or ask families to makeup the class by using our makeup/bonus class scheduler on our homepage.

• A family wanting to demo our program can attend a class (space permitting). Please sign up using our demo scheduler.

• Participation in Music Together classes requires signing a waiver during the registration process.

• We will switch to online classes if VA State mandates changes in current COVID-19 protocols.

• There will be no refunds or credits due to indoor classes moving online if VA State should mandate.

• Class is 45 minutes each week.

• Requirement for all classes: At checkout, all families will be required to agree to our Terms and Conditions, including a Liability Waiver, in order to attend class.  You are responsible for ensuring that any adult who brings your child has read and understands the policies, procedures, and waiver prior to attending the class! Our teachers will not have time to instruct an adult who has not been fully informed of these agreements.

In addition to your 45-minute weekly classes, your tuition includes:

• Unlimited bonus classes

• Make-ups for your missed classes in any of our mixed-ages classes

• A supplemental guide for making music with babies to use at home

• Access to the songs through the Hello Everybody app, as well as a beautifully illustrated songbook and an optional CD (CDs are being phaded out so while supplies last)
