Gail Wright Lee is the owner of Music Spectrum School for the Arts. She grew up in Rochester, NY, a city that loves the arts! She studied Clarinet at the Eastman School of Music and later switched to Arts Administration, working for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in public relations. In 1978, Gail, her sisters and parents moved to Northern Virginia and she began assisting Grandmaster H.K. Lee (who she married in 1980) in running the H.K. Lee Academy of TaeKwonDo, the original martial arts school in Western Fairfax County. In 1999, they established the very first Transported After School Martial Arts program in the area. With Gail's 35+ years of running the TKD school, coupled with her background in Music and Arts Management, she opened Music Spectrum School for the Arts in September 2013. She invited Music Together Sing and Groove to hold classes at her music school because she felt it was the very best preschool music program! She and her children and grandchildren greatly enjoyed going though the nine collections. Gail's a strong believer that singing and making music make people happier, healthier and smarter! And making music “together” magnifies this—adding even more social and emotional benefits! Gail looks forward to seeing you in class!
